Our families would like
to join together and
extend our sincerest
and heartfelt thank you
to all our relatives,
friends, neighbours and co-workers. Your expressions
of sympathy, kindness, concern, understanding
and generous support during this very sad and
distressful time in our life will never be forgotten.
Thank you kindly for the presence of so many at
David's memorial, and the many donations and
beautiful cards in David's memory.
A special thank you to the nurses on 6F
Oncology at Lakeridge Oshawa and Bowmanville
Hospital Complex Continuing and Palliative Care
for the wonderfully sensitive care and understanding
you gave to David. Many thanks to Dr. Chiu
and Sharon, Lakeridge Oncology for their care and
support, Dr. Youssef, Radiation Oncology and
Dr. Perrin, Neurosurgeon, St. Michael's Hospital,
Toronto.
David worked at General Motors for 41 years
and was well respected and liked by his co-workers
as well as his friends and neighbours. He was his
wife Patricia's life soulmate and dearly loved by his
family and Patricia's family. He was a community
minded person who had coached boys hockey,
girls baseball even winning a championship. He
had been President of Storie Park for 10 years,
volunteered for Canadian Red Cross Durham
Branch, Friends of the Library Northview Branch,
YWCA Girls Inc. and Canadian Blood Services.
Thank you for sharing our sadness and sorrow
for the loss of David who was so very special to us.
Some people come into our lives,
leave footprints on our hearts,
and we are never the same.
This is you, David. You will be deeply missed.
Your wife and loving soulmate Patricia
